Fiber Bragg grating piezometers are used for precise measurement of fluid pressure such as liquids and gases. These sensors are embedded in hydraulic structures, bedrock, or installed in pressure measurement pipes, boreholes, DAMS, pipelines, and pressure vessels to measure pore water pressure or liquid level. They can also be used for seepage pressure monitoring in DAMS, pressure vessel measurement, oil, water, and gas pressure measurement, and water level monitoring.
Application field
Water level reduction and recovery tests for pumping Wells, observation holes and reservoir DAMS; Water pressure monitoring of small holes in foundations, river embankments, retaining walls and small DAMS; Stability research on tunnels, mines, pipelines and other underground engineering facilities; Liquid level measurement.

Intrinsically safe, it is not affected by electromagnetic interference, has strong resistance to corrosion, pollution and lightning strikes. The internal optical fiber strain element adopts metallized packaging, featuring long-term zero stability, minimal temperature drift, simple welding operation and good dynamic characteristics. Pigtail fiber has excellent temperature resistance, corrosion resistance and aging resistance.
